He has significant experience counseling and educating employers on a wide array of workplace matters. This includes transactional employment-related due diligence; strategic workforce recruitment; DEI; drafting employee handbooks, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants; employee compensation and wage and hour concerns; occupational health and safety; securing trade secrets; workplace investigations; employee performance management; employee requests for leave or accommodation; employee separations and defections; and mass layoffs.
As an experienced employment litigator, Scott fights for employers in federal and state court with an eye on creatively resolving complex class-action, multi-plaintiff, and single-plaintiff lawsuits. He earned his J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa; his B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland Global Campus; and his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Central Florida.
