March 13, 2019-Yakima, WA- We are proud to have come together with Selah School District and various other organizations to provide a Resource Fair for High School students with Disabilities. This was a pilot program that was designed to connect Youth with Disabilities to resources to help them Transistion to "Life after High School" Over 10 businesses attended and over 20 students and their families showed up.
Board Members Jesse Rodriguez and Chris Miller attended to represent Yakima SHRM, and provided insights to Employment Laws, as well as interview tips and tricks to students, including handouts and some cool Yakima SHRM swag.
